  • The King’s Speech Controversy and Eve Stewart’s lying. Figured I had to mention this at some point. I don’t care what she did. I care that she lied about it. I felt a bit betrayed. Some interesting points were also made in the comments section. It seems most people do not understand art direction in the slightest. This needs to change.

  1. In Eve Stewart’s defense, though, her remark is a bit vague and could just mean she repeated that texture on all the other walls. But I do notice that many people in interviews are happy to go along with whatever the interviewer throws at them. For instance, when Melena Ryzik said to Trent Reznor “I hear you are classically trained” he didn’t reply “I really just had a handful of lessons” or “I could never play a concert of even the easiest Mozart.” Instead, he just smiled and said “that was a long time ago.”
