The 2019 BAFTA Production Design Panel Featuring BAFTA Nominees | Design Talks

Watch the BAFTA-nominated Production Designers participate in this BAFTA production design panel discussing their work on the nominated films: Roma, Mary Poppins Returns, The Favourite, and First Man.

This year BAFTA hosted their 2019 BAFTA production design panel before the EE British Academy Film Awards sponsored by 3 Mills Studio and moderated by Hannah Patterson. The panel included not only the production designers but also each film’s set decorator which was a lovely addition. BAFTA Guru released the video of the panel discussion event today. You can now watch the event below.

All of the BAFTA 2019 nominees for Best Production Design joined the panel to discuss their production design work. The 2019 BAFTA-nominated panelists included production designer Fiona Crombie and set decorator Alice Felton for their work on The Favourite, production designer Eugenio Cabellero with set decorator Barbara Enriquez for their work on Roma, production designer Nathan Crowley and set decorator Kathy Lucas for their work on First Man, and last but not least production designer John Myhre and set decorator Gordon Sim for their work on Mary Poppins Returns.

BAFTA nominated production designer Stuart Craig and set decorator Anna Pinnock were noticeably absent from the festivities and did not sit down for the 2019 BAFTA production design panel.
