The 2020 ADG Awards Nominees Announced by the Art Directors Guild

The Art Directors Guild announced the 2020 ADG Awards nominations today in Los Angeles. Nominees include Parasite, Ford v. Ferrari, Jojo Rabbit, Game of Thrones, and many more.

The 2020 ADG Awards nominees were announced today by the Art Directors Guild President Nelson Coates and ADG Awards Producer Scott Moses in Los Angeles. The24th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards honours theatrical motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos and animated features.

As previously announced, the ADG Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented at the Art Directors Guild Awards to outstanding individuals in each of the guild’s four crafts. Joe Alves will receive the ADG Lifetime Achievement Award from the Art Directors Council, Denis Olsen from the Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists Council, Stephen Myles Berger from the Set Designers and Model Makers Council, and Jack Johnson from the Illustrators and Matte Artists Council. Syd Mead, “visual futurist” and concept artist known for his design contributions to science-fiction films such as Star-Trek: The Motion Picture, Aliens, and Blade Runner, will be the recipient of the William Cameron Menzies Award.

The 2020 ADG Awards will return to the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown in the Wilshire Grand Ballroom on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
